Frequently asked questions
What is credit restoration and how does it work?
Credit restoration is a process where TCC will dispute any misleading, inaccurate, incomplete and unverifiable information being reported on your credit report. TCC request the credit bureaus and credit reporting agencies (CRA’s) to verify any information TCC requested.
Is Credit Restoration Legal?
Yes, credit training is legal and our credit education and document processing services will help you to use the law in your favor. That law is called "The Fair Credit Reporting Act." The FCRA gives you the right to dispute any item on your credit report. If that item cannot be verified within a reasonable time (usually 30 days) it must be removed. Studies have shown that 79% of all credit reports contain errors. This is nearly 8 out of 10 reports. Therefore most credit reports improve immediately. For items that disputed that are not errors, a creditor or furnisher is often unable to find the records or signed documents within the allotted time and the item gets removed. Sometimes the furnisher will say it has been verified by not offer proof. It is our job to prepare documents that challenge this and we are very skilled at that.
Can you really remove items from my credit report?
TCC successfully challenge any inaccurate items on your credit report with the credit bureaus and (CA’s) with expertise tactics. The (FCRA) law gives the credit bureaus a period of no longer than 30 days to verify if the information is accurate. If the credit bureaus don’t provide the results of their investigation within the 30 days allowed then the information must be deleted!
How Much Will My Credit Improve?
That depends on your unique circumstances. However, TCC have a proven track record for success, with more than 95% of our clients seeing a 30-50 points or more increase in their credit score within 30 days. After 120 days more than 95% of our clients see their FICO score increase by more than 150 points.
Why Is My Credit Bad?
Your credit score is determined by an algorithm developed by the Fair Isaac Corporation (FICO). Items taken into consideration when determining your credit score include payment history, debt ratio, credit history, inquiries, and types of credit accounts.
Credit is deemed "bad" if there is a history of late payments, delinquencies, charge-off accounts, defaults. However, errors on your credit report can also cause bad credit, even if you've been financially responsible.
How long will it take to see results?
It generally takes 30 to 45 days to see results but remember, no three credit reports are alike and results will vary from client to client depending on the nature of their case.
