Hi I’m Sarah; self confessed beach and Sea Glass addict. Being near the ocean really feeds my soul and inspires me in my jewellery design and the colour palettes I choose.

 

I spent many years travelling and working abroad always inspired by the world around me, wanting to create little keepsakes from the places I visited. In the early days this was mainly shells and stones collected from the beach. Many an afternoon was spent stringing beads and shells outside the Byron Bay Bead Shop.

 

On returning home I began taking small commissions and making gifts for friends and family. Wanting to hone my skills and gain experience I started attending Flux & Flame Jewellery School. Here my passion for silver smithing was born: Finally I was able to combine my love for natural raw materials and sparkly things with precious metals. And thus the beginnings of Seastone was born.
